There are undoubtedly many possible uses for Blockchain technology. For example, it forms the basis for new business models such as the legally compliant resale of used software licenses. This makes it possible, for example, to prove at any time which steps and transactions are used to resell the licenses. This is encrypted in a uniform database, the Blockchain, across the entire supply chain. In this way, the strict legal requirements are met and the transaction is transparent for all parties involved.
Companies should consider carefully whether Blockchain is the right technology for implementing a project idea. After all, attractive and proven alternatives are available.
